We're over the moon to announce the latest NX release, Instead of Dreams by Elaine Cheng. Comprising of five meditative synthetic drone compositions, this album forms the cultivation of Elaine's research into drone music, from ancient techniques through to the modern day, and formed part of her final MA thesis. Instead of Dreams was recorded at the legendary Goldsmiths Electronic Music Studios, on an array of analogue synths. Cassette tape out on May 21st, complete with beautiful risograph printed artwork by Elaine. You can listen and order a copy below.
